Scenes in Amanda’s classroom, which is featured throughout the episode, were shot on location at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Elementary in West Point Gray. The school has been educating Canadian students since 1940, and is located right next to the lush greenery of the Pacific Spirit Regional Park. This dog friendly nature preserve has over 73km of scenic walkable trails, as well as a guided boardwalk through the wetlands of Camosun Bog. To the north is Jericho Beach, which is a popular spot in the city for sailing, swimming, and picnics on the beach. While in the area, be sure to check out the West Point Gray Community Centre, which features recreational activities and programming for all ages.
